Ghost is designed to sabotage telesales. When the unwanted call comes, place the handset into the arms of Ghost and let Ghost talk with the telesales-operator. Ghost listens to the telephone line, when the operator is quiet for more than a couple of seconds it plays an audio file from its library. The audio-library is designed never to give an answer which could end the call, never "no" or "yes" but vague answers and questions.

The goal is to keep the operator busy trying to sell stuff to the ghost and not hang up. Simply hanging up lets the operator call someone else. Keeping him or her busy talking to a machine is better: The operator can't annoy your fellow citizens (it's a social project) The operator can't make a sale. The telesales company looses money (lots of talk and no sale). The prices of the telesales company rises and its customers will look for other marketing solutions.
